Workplace Analysis

Did you know that with optimizing the use and layout of your workplaces, you can reduce costs of housing with up tot 10%!? Furthermore you can upgrade your image, the employee satisfaction or the quality of the products or services by doing so….

Most companies struggle to reduce costs and most consequences of cost reductions have a negative effect on employee or client satisfaction.

Effect invites you to discuss the possibilities to set a hold to these developments and discuss the possible optimizations and cost reductions.

Depending on the purpose of the analysis and the available budget and time, various tools will be used to give a detailed overview of the current workplace and the possibilities for optimization and change:

-Time utilization study; gives an insight in facts about occupancy and activities during the day and during the week of all types of work settings and per team;
-Interviews and survey; interviews with key persons in the organization give an insight in employee satisfaction, perceptions of the (use of the) work environment, possible future developments et cetera. A survey offers all users the possibility to be involved;
-Observation and desk research; give an insight in behavior of people in the work environment, processes, possibilities to improve and background information for optimization.

Result of the analysis is a report on facts regarding occupation, activities and floor plan, including possibilities to optimize layout and use of the office. If required, an advise on possibilities for implementation of another (innovative) workplace concept could be part of the final report as well.

Workplace Innovation

The way we live and work is constantly changing. As companies grow and operate in global markets, workplaces become more complex.
Shifting social, environmental and technological factors increasingly affect the way businesses operate and workplaces need to keep pace.
The latest research proves that flexible working is increasingly becoming the norm, as today’s professionals are seeking more control over how and where they work and as a result to the need to cut costs and the growing need for sustainability.
Technical developments enable us to work from home,
airfields or restaurants on the way. This presents new challenges for those designing, servicing and managing offices to maximize workforce productivity.
