Marieke Wijnmaalen (1972) has 10 years experience as a consultant in real estate and workplace solutions.

She earned her masters degree in Real Estate & Housing at Delft University of Technology.  Her professional experience, together with her educational background and her personal profile make Marieke a credible and business driven sparring partner for middle- and senior management.

She worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Brink Groep (management firm and consultancy in the Netherlands) and Johnson Controls. Working for these companies, she advised profit and nonprofit organizations, ranging from developing and implementing workplace concepts for several Ministeries in the Netherlands to analyzing and optimizing the real estate portfolio of Cisco Systems in Europe and from the development of real estate strategies to holding leasehold negotiations.

Marieke started her international career working with Cisco Systems in January 2008. Since May 2009, she works as an independent consultant in workplace solutions. She founded Effect-WorkplaceSolutions in Copenhagen.

Marieke focuses on users and processes, always in the perspective of the senior managements’ goals and the (required) future developments.
